In this video, staging expert Mark Jak is given $250 and 2 hours, and asked to make a bedroom look more attractive to prospective buyers.

The original bedroom is crowded and has no “flow”. Mark rearranges the furniture to divide the space and make it look much larger.

The colors are also too bright and “personal”. Mark tones done the brightness of the colors by removing additional bright accessories such as rug, window treatments and bedding, and replacing these with much more subdued colors.
