    One point of fashion:

Italian Paris and London (when we speak) IS individually and collectively better THAN new york.

From someone who can afford the stuff.

I’m a man anyways – and given History and pretige of Saville Row – jeez not even Italian designer can squeak against that

Leading financial capital? get the fuck outta town – with all that collapse and NATIONAL FUCKING DEBT.

No ECONOMICAL POWER HOUSE IS CHINA

Soon it will be a clear winner – IT IS INEVITABLE.

“food (known to have some of the worlds best dining)”

Have you got you head stuck up in your ARSE? France is considered to be leading with Paris – defined by Michelin Star system.

Anyways any bit of India wallops NYC as having better cuisine.

All you THICK PIECES OF SHIITE (ONLY BECAUSE YOU ARE CALLING ME STUFF)

If quantity = quality then by default Tokyo is the best – actually I dont think Tokyo is a better city then New York.

Please work it out that England is extremely small country compared to USA. Percentage wise London does have more ppl – so does all of England.

Being an Immigrant country is not a fault is a actually a positive aspect – for dumb ppl who tohugh other-wise

we are the most optimistic nation in the world. maybe naively so, but its that optimism that carries us through dark times……which again makes us a resiliant nation…..

plus you make it seem like london is this magical place that is none of us have been to…..i’ve been in london about 5 times now and i have family in queensbury…..and i gotta tell you that other than central london theres not much else to see……and central london is like one by one mile…..everything else is brownstone row homes and shops thats it…

  14. detroitmetro101 on November 25th, 2009 7:00 pm

percentage wise you mean london pop compare to englands pop. right. well thats true but i dont get your point. it doesnt mean anything. new york is considered part of a megalopolis which extends from boston to washington dc ..and the pop of that is over 50 million.

  15. detroitmetro101 on November 25th, 2009 7:00 pm

lmao…………..pixel you are a joke…..we have cities like boston, new york, philadelphia, washington dc, atlanta, miami, chicago, denver, dallas, houston, san antonio, pheonix, las vegas, san diego, los angeles, san francisco, portland, seattle, honolulu and on and on……even though we are a large country we keep on growing….this economic recession is just that, a recession. we are the most dynamic yet the most stable country in the world thats why we are leading power

  16. detroitmetro101 on November 25th, 2009 7:00 pm

yeah becouse they had under aged kids in the olympics………and everybody knows that the home team has an advantage.

NYC is one of the worlds leading financial centres for finance (ie. Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan etc are all American and HQ is in NY), its THE worlds centre for media (ex. headquarters of media titans like AOL TimeWarner, NewsCorp, Viacom; also the city is shown in more movies and film than any other in the world), politics (UN headquarters), fashion (NY fashion week) and food (known to have some of the worlds best dining). It’s the worlds most significant city by quite a margin

  18. stewie919 on November 25th, 2009 7:00 pm

completey agree with you detroitmetro101. Also the Tokyo metropolitan area has almost TWICE the population of New York’s, hence its (only slightly) larger total economic output. 1st: Tokyo GRP of 1.47 trillion, 2nd: NYC with 1.4 trillion, 5th: London with only 565 trillion lol. Obviously on a gdp pc New York beats the hell out of both Tokyo & London, and its also a far more diversified and important city as a whole. Its where the ideas and innovation comes from, the other cities play catch up

I understand the emotion in this video!

  20. detroitmetro101 on November 25th, 2009 7:00 pm

imagine if new york were the national capital of united states(instead of washington)…..which london and tokyo both are…….imagine the economic, political, cultural power it has today but double the capacity…..the only city that beats ny in regional gdp is tokyo….bc its it’s nations capital……

  21. detroitmetro101 on November 25th, 2009 7:00 pm

lmao for a guy from london pixel…..all you have to do is look at canary wharf and see where that was modeled after…..which is the new york financial district

  22. detroitmetro101 on November 25th, 2009 7:00 pm

stewie thank you so much for shutting this ignorant ass up(pixel)…..lmoa…… hes just pissed becouse the financial crisis has had a bigger impact in london than in new york….becouse over the passed two decades london has allowed itself to become dependent on the financial sector whereas new york is more diverse.
