wow. I hope your joking? This is called alternative. Not goth. Goth isn’t a genre. The closest thing to your mythical ‘Goth’ genre is probably black metal.

I used to like Cruxshadows…Moix De Mois…Midnight Syndicate is cool, too. I never really took it seriously, though. Goth bands seem to take themselves seriously enough for everyone. ;)

This is what we called Alternative music. Alternative and Grunge were huge.

im looking for goth any suggestions?

In no way shape and form can this be mislabeled or criticized as goth. It’s impossible. Perhaps emo, since it’s roots come from the later 80’s band, where the term originated, to insult bands like minor threat and fugazi for switching to a more melodic style. people are just set on the genre that mtv made it out to be. It’s just all these damn tools, you know?

    isn’t this alternative

  9. PeanutButterZombie00 on October 17th, 2009 5:52 pm

No way. I used to listen to goth music, and this is not goth. Trust me.

Dude…this is not emo or goth…those aren’t even real genres…they are just stereotypes misplaced quite often by those who are just ignorant enough to stereotype in the first place.

when they first started out they would put on free shows at what was known as the old fire house in redmond, wa. which looks to me like where this video was actually filmed. i actually got to go to one back in 93 or 94. hope they come back to seattle on the new tour.

They already have. Where have you been? You’re talking like it was just announced. I think they’re almost halfway through their tour right now. I was supposed to go to their Atlanta show. Still have the ticket…i_i

Well actually, since Jeremy Enigk broke up the band in 2000, I meant WAS. But don’t worry, they are getting back together and have tour dates scheduled, according to wikipedia.
